King Merong ꦩꦼꦫꦺꦴꦁ (مروڠ) and Queen Wan Kembang ꦮꦤ꧀ꦏꦼꦩ꧀ꦧꦁ (وان كمباڠ) of Benua Tenggara: ancestors of the Dharmasraya dynasty.

King Deramang دراماڠ

Portrayed by Stephen Rahman-Hughes

Deramang anak Megat دراماڠ اناک مݢات‎ is the high king of Nusantara, and he is also the eldest son of King Megat.  He comes from the Dharmasraya dynasty.  He is loved by his people.  He is known for his miraculous hands.

Queen Mahsuriماحسوري  

Portrayed by Fazura

Mahsuri anak Bustari ماحسوري اناک‎ بوستاري is King Deramang's consort, and daughter of the old bendahara, Bustari.  She has won the hearts of her people and her own family.  She was patient and kind, but unfortunately she died when all her children were young.

 

Kelana's family

Perakڤيراک‎ 

Perak ڤيراک‎ is the father of two sons.  He used to be a Datuk Bendahara (an official position equivalent to a grand vizier) to King Deramang.  He is an apothecary and an influential man in Kampung Menanti. 

Kiambang كيامباڠ

Portrayed by Sofia Jane

Kiambang كيامباڠ is Perak's wife.  She is a wonderful mother, wife, cook and she helps her husband run the apothecary.

Komeng‎كوميڠ 

Portrayed by Syafiq Kyle

Komeng anak Perak ڤيراک‎ كوميڠ اناک‎ is Kelana's older brother.  They are both very close.  While his parents call him "Komeng", Kelana calls him "Abang", meaning "older brother".

Kelanaكلانا  

Portrayed by Fahad Iman

Kelana anak Perak كلانا اناک‎ ڤيراك‎ is Komeng's younger brother and he is close to Komeng.  He helps his parents run the apothecary and grow plants.  He is also a martial artist.

Badang  باداڠ

Portrayed by Aeril Zafrel

Badang باداڠ‎ is a prince who happens to be a professional archer.  He is named after Bendahara Bustari, a famous and wise vizier in Nusantara.

Walinong Sari والينوڠ ساري 

Portrayed by Juliana Evans

Walinong Sari والينوڠ ساري was a guru in a seminary and she escaped when marauders attacked her at Surau Murni, or Murni Seminary.

  

Wulansih وولانسيه

Portrayed by Fathia Latiff

Wulansih وولانسيه is Delima’s fellow guru at the Surau Murni, and she is a close friend to Delima.

Puan Guru ڤوان ݢورو Ayu ايو 

Portrayed by Michelle Yeoh

Ayu ايو is the grand guru in Murni Academy, and she is addressed respectfully as "Puan Guru".

King Musangموساڠ 

Portrayed by Syed Nahar

Musang anak Megat موساڠ اناک‎ مݢات is King Deramang’s youngest brother, and he is Mawar's husband.  He was once entrusted to become a Temenggung (chief of public security) under King Deramang.  However, he later usurped King Deramang's throne.

Queen Mawar ماوار

Portrayed by Amyra Rosli

Mawar anak Bustari بوستاري‎ماوار اناک‎  is King Musang’s consort and she is loyal to her husband.  She is Mahsuri’s sister.  She is also good to Mahsuri but sometimes she could not help feeling envious of Mahsuri's success as she is seen as a competitor.

Prince Terangتراڠ  

Portrayed by Edouard Holdener

Terang anak Musang تراڠ اناک‎ موساڠ is the only of child of King Musang and Queen Mawar, and he is eleven years old.

Queen Hijau ꦲꦶꦗꦈ 

Portrayed by Fazura

Hijau anak Bustari ꦲꦶꦗꦈꦄꦤꦏ꧀ꦧꦸꦱ꧀ꦠꦫꦶ is the sovereign queen of her island kingdom of Langkasuka (the capital city is Langkawaii), and she bears a striking resemblance to Queen Mawar.

King Danang ꦢꦤꦁ

Portrayed by Shah Iskandar

Danang ꦢꦤꦁ is a young king who ruled the kingdom of Tanah Barunai.  He is a close ally of Queen Hijau, who reigns over Tanah Langkasuka.

King Lanang ꦭꦤꦁ

Lanang ꦭꦤꦁ is the ruler of Tanah Bintan.  He is Prince Bustari’s cousin.

King Bambang بامباڠ

Bambang بامباڠ is the king who ruled over the kingdom of Tanah Bengkalis.

King Nila Utama نيلا اوتاما

Nila Utama نيلا وتاما is the ruler of Tanah Indrapura.  He is a close friend to King Danang, and a strong supporter of Queen Hijau.

Prince Badol بادول

Badol anak Nila Utama بادول اناک‎ نيلا اوتاما is loyal to his father Nila Utama and his kingdom.  He fights alongside his father.

King Andikaانديكا  

Portrayed by Jalaluddin Hassan

Andika انديكا is the ruler of Tanah Bayu.

King Budimanبدويمان 

Budiman بوديمان is the ruler of Tanah Bintangor.

Ki Mantra Bagus دورجانا

Ki Mantra Bagus دورجانا is a dark guru, amd when he first introduced himself, he wore white and pretended to be a good sheikh, of which he introducrd himself  as "Kyai Surya Langit".  He is known to be deceitful and manipulative.  He could also command demons to do him favours.  He emerges out of the fire at times and he has a venomous pet snake with him.

King Batara Guruباتارا ݢورو 

Batara Guru باتارا ݢورو is the bunian king, and he lives in a hidden mountain kingdom called Kayangan, which has a Shangri-La appeal.  He is a celestial deity.

Princess Cahaya چاحايا

Cahaya چاحايا is King Batara Guru's daughter.  She is also a loyal friend of King Deramang during his stay in the Bunian world.

Tuan Guru توان ݢورو Putih ڤوتيه

Portrayed by Zamberi Osman

Putih ڤوتيه is a Grand Guru, or Tuan Guru, of Nusantara.  He has been training Deramang and Musang in the use of magic and martial arts.  He is also a spiritual teacher preaching good and he opposes evil.

Kenyalang 
كڽالاڠ

Kenyalang كڽالاڠ is Kelana’s guardian hornbill.  She is a magical hornbill that can appear and vanish everywhere she goes within seconds – just like the Bunians.  She could also enlarge in size and shrink back to his normal size.

Mambang Suci 
مامباڠ سوچي

Mambang Suci مامباڠ سوچي is Kelana's lesser known bidadara (guardian spirit) who appears in the form of a man with wings out of light.

Si Kera Sakti
سي كيرا ساكتي

Si Kera Sakti  سي كيرا ساكتيis the king of the orangutans.  He and his orangutan followers could transform into strong giants during combat.  Like Kenyalang, Andoman could also speak.

Sengalang 
سڠالاڠ

Sengalang سڠالاڠ is a giant eagle and Bird of War, and it fights Kenyalang.  It fights on Durjana's side.

Mayang Sari

ماياڠ ساري

Mayang Sari ꦩꦪꦁꦱꦫꦶ‎ (ماياڠ ساري) was an ancient celestial princess who came from  Kayangan, and she is the daughter of the celestial king, Batara Guru.  She is a bunian - a magical spirit who lives in nature (either in the jungle, sea or sky) normally hidden from human sight.  She escaped with her loyal servants to the mortal world (earth), where they lived by the sea and water.  Apparently, she was the Mother of the Keris Matahari, since she was the first one to use it.  She never asked to be worshipped but humans began worshipping her, and she appears in the Old Religion of Benua Tenggarans.

Mambang Api مامباڠ اڤي

Mambang Api مامباڠ اڤي is a Fallen Bunian, and the demon king - more specifically the king of a fiery underworld called Neraka.  He has very pale complexion, his eyes turn black and he wears black clothing.  He was originally good but because of his arrogance and unwillingness to coexist with humans, he was cast out of Kayangan (a hidden mountain kingdom where the bunians lived).  He said that he will tempt humans to be at odds with one another (including unspeakable violent acts), and only the ones who are able to resist his temptations would not succumb to this.  His presence is normally noticed with a creepy whisper.
